Many of our supporters have chosen to Sponsor a specific horse and/or child after Volunteering with them or finding out about them through our website, Facebook and Instagram. These donations guarantee your money is applied towards a specific area. If you're interested in helping keep the farm operating, the General Fund is a wonderful way to contribute. This entails Vet (teeth & recent emergency call), Farrier and Feed bills as well as anything from fly spray to fencing. We are also saving up for a new roof on the barn. (Our barn is 21 years old and has weathered several CAT 1, 2 & 3 hurricanes. More and more CAT 4 and 5 Hurricanes approach our coastline each year and the barn is in dire need of being updated. Often horses can be left outside during a storm, but with our aging rescue horses sometimes that is not the best option.)

On the checkout page #4 box "Additional information" gives you the opportunity to note exactly where you would prefer your donation to be spent (simply fill in where you would like your money to go). If the field is left blank we will put it in our general fund and it will be spent on everyday expenses.
Hopes, Dreams and Horses Inc. utilizes Strike and PayPal to process credit card payments. Transactions take place over their secure websites and we do not have access to sensitive information. PayPal offers a discounted rate for non-profit organizations so that your contribution is maximized. If you do not have a PayPal account there is an option to use your credit card or Apple Pay with Strike. All major credit cards are accepted.
